The weather in the Gulf of Thailand, on the east-side of the long narrow stretch of land that stretches south down to Malaysia, is more stabile than on the Phuket/west-side. Particularly in the high season; the odds of having sun all day long is huge.

The Seasons

-The High-Season is December/January/February and March.

-Also many travel in the summer, June/July and August. The weather is more humid and CAN be more unstabile, but this mostly means 10 minutes to half an hour of tropical rain swooshing over in the afternoon, with clear sun all other time.

-The dry months are February, March and April.

-The really warm months are from March to September.

-The Monsun/rain season is October, November and mid December.

-The temperatures in the sea are on average 26 to 28 celsius degrees.
